I moved back to Thailand a few years back and realized how much I missed this Butterfly Pea tea drink! Can have it cold or hot with a smidge of natural Manuka honey. The earthy flavour of butterfly-pea flower tea is said to be a mood enhancer. The tea is said to have stress-busting effects that may also help reduce symptoms of anxiety. It is also known to refresh the brain and helps keep you energized and happy throughout the day.

This is what every food blogger wants to hear and see. Butterfly pea tea helps you lose weight as the Blue tea contains catechins, which are said to be instrumental in burning belly fat and aiding weight loss. Can I have 2 cups to go please?
Drinking butterfly-pea flowers seeped in warm water is said to be an effective way to rev up the metabolism, which in turn, makes the body burn more calories.
For your Skin. The anti-oxidants in blue butterfly pea flower stimulate collagen and elastin synthesis helping to rejuvenate your skin, reduce the wrinkles and other effects of ageing skin. Another positive plus point!
I just made myself a cup of this tea, added some natural Manuka Honey and drank a cup. It is so good! I take 1 tablespoon of the dried flower, put in my cup and add boiling water and add 1/2 teaspoon of honey. I let it steep for 5 min or more, take out the dried flowers and put them aside as you can actually reuse them for 1 more cup. I then drink it in the morning and I make an additional cup to drink cold for the evening before bedtime.
