The only intro Punjabi Grill needs is to ASAP place an order after reading this review. They are located in the Radisson Suites Hotel Sukhumvit Soi 13 and when they re-open, make a reservation immediately if you have a post quarantine hankering for Indian style cuisine.
I’m just gonna start with the main dishes. Punjabi Grill made the most delicious shrimp biryani, lamb chop curry, the most amazing grilled broccoli in some creamy delicious sauce. Along with, of course, the most popular Indian dish butter chicken. Oh, wait there were also the papadams, grilled chicken and of course grilled seekh kebab!
Hey, I know …. I know …this won’t go over well with many of my readers, BUT I’m not a huge fan of butter chicken. I think it is because I prefer a spicy version of chicken curry. However, this Punjabi Grill Butter Chicken had the tastebuds drooling over the creamy buttery sauce with the succulent chunky chicken breasts!! The garlic paratha was the best to eat with your fingers to wipe every last dribble!! I also cut fresh green Thai chillis and cilantro on top of the butter chicken prior to devouring it!
In this order, there were probably about 6-7 lamb chops, so tender and meaty. This dish I would write a definite 10 out of 10. Out of all of the Indian food I’ve tasted the Punjabi Grill has the most authentic food outside the Punjab province in India.
While I was eating this food, it definitely took me back to India. If you have ever been there, I am sure you would agree. The food not only smells terrific but oh so tasty! I visited India for my jewelry buying trips several times, I was taken around to try all the delicious foods of India. I LOVED India BTW and cannot wait to go back!
The Shrimp Biryani from Punjabi Grill came enough for two people. There were loads of succulent, sensational shrimp in the biryani practically more than the rice itself. Each and every prawn was superbly prepared and moreover the spices complemented the prawns! I am so grateful that I was able to taste such delightful spicy yummy food. Punjabi cuisine is associated with the Punjab region of India and Pakistan… super delicious!
I have taken so many pictures of Indian food and this one I just can’t seem to take enough of. I wish you could smell the food through these pictures! Drooling yet? OK, yes I really love Tandoori fish! The grilled salmon was rubbed with delicious spices and grilled to perfection. Punjabi Grill uses only the freshest ingredients procured from the foothills of the Himalayas in Kashmir — all of which are prepared with love. They are also in the Michelin Guide for 2020.
Big hearty thank you to the Punjabi Grill chefs and the dedication to make the most amazing food during this most difficult time of COVID-19.
Punjab Grill has live music six nights a week with international Indian artists serenading you and taking requests. I
will definitely be heading there once actives will resume!Â
With Love & Gratitude,
