Delight Your Taste Buds at Take Eat Easy Restaurant in Yenakart 19.

When you walk into the Take Eat Easy Restaurant, the vibes are like the garden of Eden. The place is surrounded with lush garden greenery with a nice small pond in the corner. This restaurant is very easy to find as is in the Yenakart area of Sathorn, to be precise, 19 Yenakart. I absolutely love the play on words, Take EAT Easy.. a very cool name fits with a very tranquil ambiance.

As you can see, the lush garden area as you walk in and there are two buildings. One is a bar catered to people that just want to have a quick drink with some light bars snacks and then there’s the restaurant part. Take Eat Easy is beautifully declorated. Simple and beautiful florals perfectly placed.

However, when my friend Rina and I walked in, we were the only ones in the restaurant because we were early and they just opened for the day. We sat down and started to peruse the menu, the servers suggested the smoked beef jerky as our starter. AT TAKE EAT EASY, the servers are polite and very accommodating. First of all I loved the smoked beef jerky, and secondly the dip that came with it was outstanding. It had a little bit of spice to it which was really tasty. More importantly, I would say this is the perfect appetizer when you were there for a nice cold, chilled beer or a cocktail.

Reuben: so one of my most favourite sandwiches in the world is a Reuben. However, this Reuben was very different as it came on a waffle! The waffle was soft and it was very complementary to a different Reuben sandwich! The sauerkraut on top of the pastrami and the melted cheese was to die for. I would highly recommend that try this again and again. Pass the mustard please!

The next sandwich to hit our tummies in a very nice and pleasant way was the Fig & Brie. I don’t know what’s going on with me, but I really am in love with figs so anything that had figs on the menu I had to try it. The entire fig and brie sandwich is like an explosion of soft yet sweet and somewhat salty flavours in your mouth. Not only was the sandwich easy to eat but you almost didn’t wanna stop because of the flavours that mixes together in such a subtle way, it is too good to put down!

The truffle mushroom pasta was also done to perfection as they say in Italian “al le Dente”! Furthermore, I’m not exactly sure what they put on top, but to mix it all up and devour this was divine. There were bits of bacon and mushrooms with lots of delicious cheesy goodness. My friend could not stop eating it and we were so full, she decided to take it home.

After all of that delicious food, I needed to have a little bit of a break so we decided to have a coffee and the one that we chose was the bullet coffee! I’m not sure if any of you know this but bullet coffee is made from high quality beans with unsalted butter and a medium chain triglyceride (MCT), such as that derived from coconut oil, which aids in cognitive function. For instance, creamy like a latte!

The Fig and Berries waffle with the orange preserve, marscapone cream was light and refreshing. Equally important, the presentation of this dish is so appealing, almost to good to ruin it by gobbling it up! The soft waffle, the texture of softness like melting in your mouth with splashes of the cream and berries was impressive. Gotta try this even if you just come to eat this!

So for dessert, we wanted something light and not too heavy because we were quite full and just could not fit another bite when the servers came and suggested the chocolate tiramisu. Of course we said YES YES YES! This delicious chocolate tiramisu at Take Eat Easy restaurant did not disappoint whatsoever. Not too sweet – it was just right!

Well, Rina and I decided that that was it, we literally could not have any more food! Then along comes my friend Johan, who arranged all of this amazing feast for us, demanded that we try their signature milkshakes. So why not? He ordered the Raspberry milkshake along with the Bounty Hunter and boy oh boy but you must try these!

The Bounty Hunter milkshake tastes exactly the taste of the Bounty Chocolate bar (shredded coconut centre dipped in chocolate) for those of you who do not know what a bounty chocolate bar is? Make sure that you drink this with a straw to get the entire experience of this milkshake!

The Raspberry milkshake, decorated with pieces of meringue and whipped cream. Now who would say no to this? Having tried a portion of both milkshakes I wish I knew about it before I started eating! Nevertheless, I will be back and this time it will be dessert.

Another dish that Johan requested us to try was this particular dish, no he didn’t really tell us too much about it except that he ordered it for us and we had to try it. Using my Spidey senses I was like hmmmm…. Let’s see what the hullabaloo is all about? THANK YOU for insisting for us to try the Ganache chocolate drizzled with olive oil, yup you read this right, olive oil! He said this is one of the best things on the menu! He was so legit!

Chocolate ganache, a luscious blend of chocolate and warm cream, achieves a velvety smooth texture when stirred to perfection. This versatile delight serves as a filling, dip, spread, frosting, topping, or cake layer, making it a must-have in every baker’s repertoire. Who knew?

Thank you so much Johan for such an amazing experience, Bangkok has a very cool new restaurant for people to go hang out and Take Eat Easy! What fabulous space to host a party, friends gathering in the evenings or a quick business lunch is a great place to come.

With Love and Gratitude,
